Garofalo Whole Wheat Cous Cous brings the past and the traditions of the nomadic peoples of the North African regions to mind.
A dish to be shared, it reached Italian tables in the second half of the nineteenth century, brought by workers from the area
of San Vito Lo Capo and Mazara del Vallo in Sicily who had visited the Tunisian coast.
Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, add salt to taste before pouring in the product.
Let it cook for three minutes, stirring occasionally until the water is absorbed.
Season to taste.
Recommended portions for 2 people:
Pour 250 g of product for every 250 ml of water.
