Thoughts and inspirations
This pastina for broth is also known as risoni thanks to its characteristic shape.
In English-speaking countries, however, it is much more common to hear it referred to as Orzo and see this wording on pasta packages.
Thanks to its small size it is a very versatile shape and perfect for children.
The traditional Neapolitan recipe that goes best with this type of pasta is Orzo dentro il brodo allungato (in diluted stock).
